We are a Church of England voluntary controlled first school, for 3-9 year olds. We are located in the small rural village of Tittensor and offer an enriched curriculum and a positive environment for learning. We are a friendly school with a good reputation and are proud of our links with the Church.

The school welcomes children from all backgrounds and abilities. This may involve additional support for children with special educational needs.

At Tittensor C.E. (VC) First School we aim to achieve high standards of teaching and learning in a positive environment that encourages high levels of confidence, self esteem and independence and ensures our children have opportunity and are educated for the future. We aim to provide an enriched curriculum which encourages children to have regard for their own health and the environment. This is built on the foundation of strong links with the church and the community and an agreed set of values and codes of behaviour for groups of people including adults and children who have to work together harmoniously. We welcome children irrespective of gender, religion, race or special needs.

As a Church of England school we wish to develop a sympathetic understanding of the Christian faith and a developing respect for their own cultures and beliefs and those of other people. We aim to provide opportunities for the children to encounter the Anglican tradition, as well as promoting links with the Anglican congregation and the local community.

A Staffordshire project has also enabled the children to make links with other schools within Staffordshire as well as in Pakistan.

We have a wide catchment area.In September 2011, there were 62 children in main school. Approximately half of the children are from the immediate catchment area of Tittensor, Beech and Meaford. The remainder come from Trentham, Barlaston, Stone and Swynnerton.

There are 24 children in nursery, sessions are every morning, every afternoon or for 2 full and 1 half day, totalling 15 hours each week.

If this sounds like the environment for your child, contact us by phoning 01782 372539, or use the 'enquiry' function on our website.
